Where do I find my car insurance certificate?

Since April 2024 the green card no longer exists: your insurer gives you an “insured vehicle memo”, which you can download from your customer area, and the police check your insurance in the insured vehicles file (FVA).

Where to find it online

  • Insurer's customer area → “Mes contrats” → “Auto” → “Mémo véhicule assuré” or “Attestation”.
  • You can check yourself that your vehicle is registered on the FVA website with its registration number.

If you have lost it

  • The memo can be downloaded again with no limit from the customer area; you no longer have to show it during a check.
  • If you are unsure the vehicle is registered in the FVA (a contract less than 72 hours old, for example), keep the memo with you.
