Where do I find my rent receipt?

The rent receipt is issued free of charge by your landlord or the agency, on simple request, for every period where the rent and charges were paid in full.

Where to find it online

  • Tenant area of the agency or social landlord: receipts can be downloaded every month.
  • An e-mail to the landlord is enough to ask for it: the law requires them to provide it free of charge if you ask.

If you have lost it

  • Ask the landlord or the agency for a duplicate, stating the months concerned.
  • If the landlord refuses, keep a written record of the request; the ADIL of your département (adil.org) gives free information on your rights.
