Where do I find my IBAN or RIB?

Your IBAN is written on your bank details slip (RIB), available in your banking app, on your account statements and on the back of some chequebooks.

Where to find it online

  • Bank app or website → “Mes comptes” → “RIB / IBAN” → “Télécharger” or “Partager”.
  • Administrations (CAF, tax office, France Travail, CPAM) ask for the IBAN to pay a benefit or collect a tax: enter it without spaces or in groups of 4, as on the RIB.

If you have lost it

  • The RIB can be downloaded again at any time from the bank's customer area, at no cost.
  • Never give your IBAN after an unsolicited call or e-mail: an IBAN alone does not let anyone withdraw money, but it is used in fake direct debit scams.
